Butterfly walk set for Nov. 22

A walking tour through one of South Florida’s last remaining hardwood hammocks will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 22, at MacArthur Beach State Park in North Palm Beach. Interested persons will join a park ranger and see several species of butterflies that are attracted to plants living in the hammock. It’s a great way to learn which plants attract butterflies to your own back yard. Reservations are required. For more information call 624-6952. The tour is free with park admission of $4 per car load. The park is located on A1A on Singer Island between Blue Heron and PGA boulevards.
