Teen accidentally shoots self while talking on phone The Associated Press Posted November 7, 2008 WEST PALM BEACH -- Authorities say a West Palm Beach teen accidentally shot himself while talking on the phone last month. Investigators believe the 16-year-old boy, whose name has not been released, was home alone on the night of Oct. 21. It appears the teen was talking on the phone and playing with a handgun when it went off. He was found dead at the scene.
