Woman’s home invaded by 3,000 swarming bees

VICTORIA, Texas -- More than 3,000 bees in the house would send most folks buzzing out the door, but not 86-year-old Victoria resident Jean Frankenburger.
She wasn’t scared of her swarm of uninvited guests because her father was a beekeeper. So she simply called a beekeeper for help removing the bees that had taken up residence in the top right corners of two windows.
They apparently had been entering her home during the past few months through small holes in the chimney.
The beekeeper removed most of the bees and plans to make honey.
